Danny Iny – Founder & CEO

Danny Iny Danny Iny (@DannyIny) is the founder of Mirasee, host of the Business Reimagined podcast, best-selling author of multiple books including Engagement from Scratch!, The Audience Revolution, and Teach and Grow Rich, and creator of the acclaimed Audience Business Masterclass and Course Builder’s Laboratory training programs, which have together graduated over 4,000 value-driven online entrepreneurs.

All of this grew out of humble beginnings; he started out just like most online entrepreneurs, with an idea and message to share, and no idea how to do it. He made several wrong turns – which he calls “plot twists” in the Audience Revolution – before really understanding the Audience First paradigm, and how to apply it to online business.

And when he did, it was like lighting a match to a fuse. Back in 2011, he started Firepole Marketing with less than nothing; he had no traffic, no subscribers, no relationships with any influencers in the industry, and over a quarter million dollars in personal debt, left over from his last failed startup.

In just a few short years, he’s transformed Firepole Marketing into Mirasee, grown the business to multiple-seven figures in revenue and a team of almost 30 people spread all over the world (including his talented wife) on a mission to support very special global community of over forty thousand loyal and inspired entrepreneurs.

Danny has maintained a passionate commitment to learning and transparency, freely sharing lessons learned from great successes, major challenges, and even his personal life to support the online entrepreneurial community as a teacher, speaker, angel investor, and advisor to many of the top leaders in our industry, who have Danny on speed-dial when they need help with their business or strategy.

Lou D’Alo – Director of Education

bio_lou

As Director of Education at Mirasee, Lou D’Alo is focused on creating education, training and coaching programs that ensure the success of Mirasee students.

At Mirasee, Lou is reimagining education by flipping on it’s head the notion that an education company’s responsibility ends with providing information and leaving students on their own to create results.

Instead, the Mirasee Education Team is committed to providing the information, training, coaching and community necessary to ensure the success of every student who is ready, willing and open to turn their talents into income.

Lou is also founder of PowerUpCoaching.com, a coaching and training company that since 2003 been helping tens of thousands of entrepreneurial thought leaders and subject matter experts to create sustainable long term businesses based on their skills and knowledge, using direct response marketing and digital marketing strategies.

Drawing on an eclectic mix of decades of experience as software developer (a.k.a. Geek/Nerd), business manager, product developer, teacher, trainer, salesman, marketing executive, global business development, entrepreneur and monk (yes, that’s right: a monk) … Lou is passionate about helping Mirasee students build a successful business that allows them to use their talents and skills to create meaningful results for their clients, and financial rewards fulfillment and freedom for themselves.

Lindsey Hayward – Student Coach

Lindsey is an animal lover with a background in copywriting and journalism, and was a Course Builder’s Laboratory student before joining Mirasee in 2015. In addition to her main love (Mirasee), she’s an active Beachbody coach for beginner fitness.

Her experience on a collegiate equestrian team and as a veterinary technician gives her an edge when it comes to animal topics. She’s into alternative medicine and therapies, religious/spiritual topics, good books, nature, music, and personal development.

Lindsey loves to laugh, so if you’ve got a great joke (or a truly horrible one), she’d love to hear it!

Darla Fields – Student Coach

Darla2

Darla joined Mirasee in July 2015 as a content writer and student advisor.

After pursuing majors in biochemistry and accounting, she settled on a creative writing degree in hopes of writing the next great American novel. Over the years, she has worked in various positions, including teaching writing at a local community college, real estate title insurance, customer service and data entry. Each experience has built upon the others, adding to her skill set and increasing her passion to help others write stronger while they pursue their own dreams and goals.

Darla loves to learn and absorbs everything she can, from the world of online business to proper goat-milking techniques. In her spare time, she can be found hiking in the woods with her family. You might also catch her talking to her bunnies, gardening with her grandpug, or sitting by a campfire with her hubby and biggest fan.

Lizzie Merritt – Training Manager

bio-liz-360x293

Lizzie first joined the Mirasee community in September of 2014 when she enrolled in the Audience Business Masterclass. Prior to that, a family relocation had taken her away from teaching fitness to moms of small children. Thus, she decided to start blogging as a way to stay connected with “her moms.” ABM was the perfect fit for helping her blog to iterate and grow. In the spring of 2015, Lizzie jumped at the opportunity to contribute her teaching skills to the Mirasee team as a Student Coach.

Prior to her fitness career, Lizzie utilized her Masters of Education degree while teaching middle school science for 5 years. Most people cringe when she says “middle school,” but middle schoolers are actually really fun to work with. They are young enough to still respect authority (pretty much), but old enough to have a great sense of humor. Lizzie loves learning about a whole range of things, but especially behavioral psychology and weight loss.

When she’s not interacting with the Mirasee community, you might find Lizzie exercising or writing about making peace with the imperfect body. She has also written a book called 7 Ways to Willpower.

Her favorite way to relax is open a good book. These days she reads a lot of non-fiction, but teen dystopian novels are never too far away. Lizzie loves the ocean and nature, but her favorite pastime of all is snuggling with her kids.

Lesley Taylor – Head Coach

bio-lesley-360x293

Lesley joined the Mirasee team in July 2014. She brings more than 20 years experience of teaching and training to the position of student advisor on our team.

Lesley has designed training materials for both start up and corporate companies based in Silicon Valley while studying for several degrees at Stanford University. Having written her doctorate on home education, she worked with the National Home Education Research Institute as an advisory editor, and home educated her own seven children plus several more young students who arrived for language exchanges or to experience home education. Lesley has a practical and academic interest in innovative and alternative ways to live and learn.

When not reading or answering questions on how she survived parenting (favorite answer: “I married a good man to team with me”), Lesley loves to be hiking in the hills near her home, or canoeing in the local tidal rivers. She once tried swapping the canoe for a windsurfer but was unable to grasp how to stay on the board – it was an afternoon that involved a lot more swimming than windsurfing!

Lesley also loves to cook and has written a cookbook titled Let’s Eat to help university students create a meal from whatever they find in the cupboard. The bigger message of the book centers around taking ordinary things from ordinary places to get remarkable results.

Lesley lives in a restored old stone farmhouse in west Wales with her husband Dave. A few sheep graze in their fields, and unspoiled beaches are a short distance away to the north, south, and west, framed with 186 miles of National Park-protected coastal path perfect for walking, seal spotting, or simply for wondering.

In her spare time you’ll find Lesley talking with students of all ages helping them to move forward with their challenge of the moment. She finds her students anywhere and everywhere – just because she just loves to connect, engage and inspire – which is exactly why she chose to be part of the team at Mirasee. She is very friendly, so do feel free to send Lesley an email and start a conversation!

Rocky Kev – Technologist

bio-rocky-360x293
Rocky has been a fan of Mirasee for 3 years, devouring their newsletters, blog posts, and podcasts. When he saw that Mirasee had a job opening, Rocky jumped at the chance to join as a student coach.

Before being a student coach, Rocky spent his early adult years teaching art and game development to kids ages 5-15. He then worked for 6 years at a national comedy club, where he worked his way up from the bottom to become their Online Manager.

Rocky is an lifelong learner. When he’s not reading or listening to an educational podcast, Rocky relaxes by playing PC games and engaging with the game development community. Feel free to chat with him if you’re a fan of video games, stand-up comedy, and most importantly, if you love personal growth.
